Hair done, makeup undone. Dressed for success Mandee buckled down for a 10-day job training for WaMu (for those of you that remember that’s short for Washington Mutual). Ready for some of the most boring days of her life, she hears some giggling over her shoulder. She turns to see where it’s coming from and a witty good looking guy dressed in slacks and his WaMu shirt is the life of the party. She was drawn to him. By the 3rd day of training, hair done, makeup done, and dressed to kill.
Shortly after training, Lalo made the move and asked Mandee on a date. They found they had a lot in common and they liked a lot of the same things. Then he mentioned to Mandee that he loved the Boston Red Sox and she realized he was the one.
Now this engagement session was unlike any other. We’ve been doing our best to avoid the fields this summer because where we live there is a threat of rattlesnakes. Jay actually recently had to remove one from our elderly neighbor’s backyard, the snake was right up against our fence! After spending some time in Old Town Murrieta, we decided to head out to a little field. I was hesitant stepping out there but kept an eye out. We only took maybe 10 steps when Lalo shouted, “Rattlesnake!” Mandee had nearly stepped on a good sized snake, we moved away as fast as we could, but Jay put on the big lens and got some shots of it to remember! Scary, but thankfully he didn’t bite anyone. And this is a warning to photographers and families going out into fields, please BE CAREFUL. Especially when you have little ones!
Back to the session…
Mandee & Lalo, we are super excited about your wedding under the willow tree! We hope that you love these photos that captured such a beautiful moment in your lives :) Cause we sure had a wonderful time capturing them.
