A gorgeous brisk evening, the stars were twinkling. He held her close and in his arms to keep her warm. Two amazing years together, a romantic anniversary dinner atop an incredible city, spectacular. It was precisely as he had planned. They hopped in the elevator ascended onto the 19th floor where the Top of the Mark awaited them. They ordered some appetizers and sparkling cider while enjoying the view. It was then he popped out a ring and asked her to be his forever <3 Then she said, yes.

I have to say, I felt nearly as giddy when Brittany & Jason asked us to go to dinner with them. We ordered appetizers, then Jason popped the question, “Will you be our wedding photographers?” I think my Jay even batted his eyes a little bit and in a slightly higher voice said, “why yes!” We are completely smitten by these two and we couldn’t be happier that they asked us to photograph their July wedding at the Newport Balboa Bay Club!

When Brittany suggested we head up to San Francisco for their engagement session, Jay and I said heck yes! To capture the hustle and bustle of the city and documenting their love in the midst was so much fun. It did however come with a challenge. Not long after we began shooting the wind picked up to practically hurricane speeds and got really cold REALLY fast! But these two totally rocked it and afterward we enjoyed a lovely Thai Food dinner in the city :)
